HOLD BACK LOVE
Kraak & Smaak power through into 2012 with another single and remixes come courtesy of Germany’s deep house chart slayers Lovebirds, as well as an upbeat house take from Italy’s Analog People in a Digital World and finally stunning lo-fi boogie from Canada’s Neighbour & Elan B.
As 2011 drew to a close and end of year charts were drawn up to many Let’s Go Back, the house bomb dropped by Kraak & Smaak at the end of the summer and remixed with a masters touch by Solomun was definitely featured. Already it has made it into the Mixmag and DJ Mag singles of the year charts.
It rounds off a stellar year for kraak & Smaak which has seen their album top radio charts in the US while their live show rocked festivals worldwide from Glastonbury to The Big Chill (where they went up against Kanye West in full whinge mode and quickly siphoned off his headliners audience) to EXIT where they played the main stage for their first time.
Already the boys are in the studio recording the follow up to Electric Hustle but that doesn’t mean this album is done yet. No chance to put this to bed when singles as strong as Hold Back Love (and others to come) have yet to be released. Expect this single to carry on where Let’s Go Back left off – rocking discerning dancefloors worldwide and troubling the forward thinking radio stations.
The vinyl release will only feature the Lovebirds remix of Hold Back Love and Solomun’s mix of Let’s Go Back.
