Jalapeno Records are very happy to announce that Ephemerals are one of only a handful of acts selected by BPI Music Export Growth Scheme to receive funding towards European tour support and promotion.
The Music Export Growth Scheme –delivered by UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) and the music industry trade body, BPI – has granted a further £200,000 to UK-based independent music companies to provide support to develop their businesses, artists and projects in international markets such as the USA, Asia and elsewhere in Europe.
For more details check out the MEGS site.
Ephemerals songwriter Nic Hillman gave his reaction: “We’re really pleased to get this BPI MEGS funding. The band have been working tirelessly since the debut album over the last year and have achieved some great successes at home in 2015 such as getting radio 1Xtra play-listed and playing Glastonbury and Bestival this summer. This BPI funding gives us a great opportunity to further extend the reach for our new album ‘chasin ghosts’ and get our music heard by even more fans out there on tour in Europe. We can’t wait!”
